Carol was born on Christmas Eve, 1959 in Inverness, Scotland. She was nearly three years old when her family immigrated to Perth, Western Australia and settled in the quiet suburb of Wilson.
In 1978, she married, and two years later moved with her husband to Laverton, a remote mining town in the Goldfields. Then in the May of 1985, they moved to the next neighbouring town of Leinster.
It was mid December of 1985, when tragedy struck, and she found herself widowed with two young daughters. Soon after this event, she started writing to help the healing process.

In 1992, Carol found love again. Another daughter arrived in 1993, quickly followed by a son in 1994. She finally married her partner, Bill, in 1995 and from this date to present time, they have undertaken various business ventures: hobby farming, property investing, development and management, herb farming, share trading and finally, small business owners.

Carol currently lives near the Swan River in Ascot, with her husband, two teenagers, and a ragdoll cat named Jinx. She has been blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren.
Apart from writing, Carol enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also has a deep passion for travelling, photography, reading, movies, theatre, wine and dining.

Life is busy as ever. But one thing has always remained true ~ Carol has never given up on her dream to become a published author.
