A moving love story about friendships, relationships, and second chances.

After five long years, Kasia Bell returns to her home town in the Golden Mile. It’s a chance for new beginnings . . .
Kasia’s delighted when Holly, an old family friend, announces she’s getting married. There’s one problem. The wedding is just around the corner, and Holly’s Matron of Honour has fallen ill. Kasia agrees to stand in at the rehearsal, believing it should be fun. But how wrong could she be? When the sexy, drop-dead gorgeous groom-to-be arrives, Kasia is jolted back to their ‘one night’ stand, almost five years ago…when after a night of passion, he vanished, and left Kasia not only heartbroken, but with child.
Between secrets and tragedy, can a little girl hold the key to their hearts?
Here in the heart of the outback, Kasia learns life’s most precious lessons – true love involves sacrifice, family is forever and past mistakes can be forgiven.

I have chosen to do the ‘Year of the Novel’ course through the AWM Online Learning Centre which is presented by The Australian Writer’s Marketplace, and is administrated by the Queensland Writers Centre.
This course is all about providing support to get my novel written. There’s 26 fortnightly sessions, with information and practical activities. Not to mention, a professional tutor to help guide me through the process.
